Help figuring out what ThinkCentre my grandparents have

This is a bit dificult, but Im looking for what ideacentre pc my grandparents have.

I dont know much, but this is what I know about it:

  • 500gb hdd (no ssd)
  • about 5 years old
  • A pentium
  • 4gb of sodimm ddr3 (1 stick)
  • no psu
  • disc drive
  • its possible that there is a 900 in the name

Its not much to go by, but Im stopping by on saturday to install a ssd, and want to see if I can use setfsb to get a bit of a faster cpu for them. Any help would be amazing!

Got any pics to share? If your grandparents are like mine, when you ask them to take a photo, it's typically upside down and/or completely out of focus, but you can tell usually a lot by looking at the chassis of a prebulit system.

Always remember the 80/80 rule of project management. That is, the first 80% of the project takes 80% of the time, and the last 20% of the project takes the other 80% of the time.

From the looks of it whatever pentium it has, it looks to be a mobile chip that is soldered to the board, which would explain the sodimm memory so you're not going to get much out of it as it is.
