how much would I get from selling from this high end built.

So a friend gave me his PC he recently built about a month ago after his uncle who a  engineer built him a high end pc with 10900k with a 3080 for a graduation gift. I was thinking if I sell it I could use it for my ZEN 3 built. Its pretty high end and I say fairly new since it was built in August. I was thinking could I get at least 1800-2500k on built. I was wondering what would be a fair and reasonable price for this pc that I could get my money worth.

- ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-E

- Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory Timings: 16-18-18-36 Model number: CMW32GX4M2C3200C16

- Dual 2TB Samsung 970 Evo PLUS + WD Black 2TB HDD 7200RPM (Already wiped and formatted) (SATA 5 and 6 are disabled 

 because of dual M.2 SSD and HDD is taking one SATA space.

- GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2080 Super Windforce OC

-Corsair RM(2019) 850W 80+ gold

-3 corsair LL 120mm fans RGB

Exactly, obviously he put a lot of effort into it being that you have a 3080. I honestly don’t see the reason in selling this

You won't really gain much by going Zen3.

As for your question regarding what you can sell it for:

1. Go to your local classifieds
2. Compare pricing
3. Price accordingly
4. Sell
5. Profit

Prices differ greatly from region to region, city to city. Any advice you get from someone somewhere else isn't going to represent what you can sell it for where you live.

It was really nice of your friend to give you this. I would feel bad selling it TBH, as it was your friends money that bought it. I would at least ask him if it's OK.

 

But regardless of that, as others have said you don't really gain much if any by selling it, unless you're gonna upgrade to a 3080 yourself or something?
