Does anyone ever tried Steam Link on Android TV?

I don't really know where's the exact place for this kind of topic so... For mods, my bad if I made a mistake. Yet I thought since this isn't 'display'-related topic.

 

Just wondering. As like on the title itself. I searched for YouTube and Google and there's only minimum amount result I can find.

 

An example would be if I get a smart TV like the this cheapo Xiaomi Mi 4A TV (yet I'm kind of worried of the RAM that only have 1 GB-ish) or perhaps another TV somehow. Use-case, standard usage of TV of course.

Of course, it would be connected with ethernet. I know wifi really sucks for this kind of purpose.

 

Or maybe. Get a cheapo-kind of HTPC and call it a day for better performance?

Works fine on my Philips TV. How useful that information is for you, I don't really know.

I tried it on my Sony X800E Android TV when I first got it. I was surprised at how well it performed TBH, but then I got an Nvidia Shield TV and then never looked back at my TV's built in Android OS.
