the 3600 has 18-20-20 timings the 3200 kit has 16-18-18. Latency will be more or less the same between them and they should overclock similarly.

Hey guys, just wondering if i should get this ram since it is on sale - https://www.mwave.com.au/product/pny-xlr8-rgb-16gb-2x-8gb-ddr4-3600mhz-memory-ac37615

Or should i save up a bit more and go for this slightly slower corsair ram instead  https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07D1XCKWW?tag=pcppau-22&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1

Depends on your system. If it's Intel, or Ryzen 3000, then they're about equivalent. However, if it's pretty much anything else, only the Corsair is worth getting, as the PNY will have issues running at XMP settings.
