Quality of Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite 240

So I've been recently looking at some coolers and I couldn't help but notice the price of the MasterLiquid Lite 240. So how good is it and how does it compare to a similarly priced Dark Rock Slim, or a slightly more expensive Dark Rock 4?

And is there a difference between it and the ML240L RGB and the ML240L RGB V2.

It's not a great cooler. How expensive is the dark rock pro 4? Might as well just get a sycthe fuma 2. Same performance lower price. Or if you want something absolutly dead quiet with almost identical performance (still better than the cm cooler) the sycthe ninja 5 will more than do the trick.

Well you said it. It's one of the cheapest but it also doesn't perform well. Basically a hyper 212 would give you the same cooling without the trouble of a aio. Cheaper aircoolers are better and same priced ones just flat out beat it.

Only 10€ cheaper than Arctic liquid freezer ii 240. Not great value.

I have 2 CM Lite 120 AIO (same build quality) - I have read of one person on here having a leak recently.  I have zero issues with mine.

I have one of them on a stock R7 1700 and it never gets hotter than 56c ever.

My only complaint is the rigid tubing (where the person on this forum had a leak) as they aren't very flexible at all so Im assuming his leak (from the tubing) may have been exacerbated by his handling of the AIO.

AIO's are just pump/blocks and rads.  The radiators are 99% of the time aluminum (across every vendors skews not just CM) and majority of pumps are manufactured by asetek.

i cant imagine its as worse as a 212 lol

which part caused the issue? pump ? fan ? contact?

wonder if push+ pull fan config could be a solution?

Oh no they just use cheaper components that just have lower performance. Aio's are not magically better than a aircooler. This one has a very thin rad that has about the same surface area as a hyper 212 so it's pretty logical that the performance is similar. The thing this one has as a disadvantage is the weaker pump and pretty mediocre fans.

Push pull is going to do basically nothing over just adding better fans. But then again you are spending more money on a mediocre cooler then instead of just getting a good one in the first place.

The fan on the 212 rgb is the same as the masterliquid. It's a fair bit weaker than the normal evo black edition (can result into a 10c difference according to multiple users). So yeah you just got the light up version of the cooler that is worse than the non rgb one basically. If you really wish to upgrade get one of the 2 sytche coolers. Should be the same price as the masterliquid but absolutely beat it by a long shot.
