Yeah that's a pretty important part of diagnosing your problem. It should have come with your motherboard. It might not look *exactly* like that picture, but you should have some small thing like that which is marked as "speaker"

The only thing the motherboard came with was a "G connector" and 2 satacables

If you look at page 14 of your  motherboard manual, you'll see a diagram of your motherboard. Item 11, detailed on page 19, shows you how to configure the speaker. Should be next to your power switch connector

Ok cool. What you're looking for is a "motherboard speaker" or "PC speaker." I think if you get that you'll be able to diagnose your problem.

Difficult to say without more info. The fact that your lights are randomly flashing perhaps would indicate a MB problem, but that's a pure guess on my part.

If you check the link I posted, you can see what the beeps can tell you regarding what could be bad (everything from a bad CPU to bad memory to bad onboard MB peripherals).

Even if you have to RMA the motherboard, the more info you can give them when you send it back, the faster it can be sent back to you.

If you do have to send it back, I'd call Gigabyte and tell them what you found, since they might be able to tell you what to put in the package regarding diagnostic info so you can get it back asap.

Wait, I can check if its the ram by taking it out and trying it with only the cpu right?

No. The computer will not post without ram in it.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

I'm back, did you figure any thing out?

yes, with the help of you guys. First off its not the PSU that is broken as I have tested it and it works, It is either a mobo, cpu or ram problem. I have ordered the motherboard speaker to see what type of beep it makes so I ca Some n corroborate which component is causing the problem through the motherboard manufacturers website. Also the ram also flashes blue after the motherboard flashes blue and red. According to some of the people that responded in this forum, this is probably a mobo problem.
