I am retired so all I do is goof off.

 

When I did work it was as a 3D designer specializing in trade shows witch is kind of strange since I had no talent. 

I decided to go into it since I noticed that most people that do it also don't have much talent so there would be room for me. I needed to do something because I was a welder/fabricator that had a lung ailment and back injury. I started in 1992 and retired in 2018.

 

I can't show anything recent because of agreements I made in 2013 with my one customer but in 2012 I did a job for a Tile Trade Show that went under.

The image is of a 10' X 30' inline trades how booth made from a modular display system called Octanorm. Everything in the image as to be accurate since if the booth was sold it would have to be built form plans generated from the 3d model. Even the furniture is from a rental catalog and is to scale. 

 

To make a living I had to do at least 5 projects like this per day and some days were slow and others were crazy.

This was done with Lightwave but in 2013 I switched to 3D Max. The computer was a i7 2600k with a GTX 570.

I'm in high school and don't have a job yet. The only thing I've done for money is tutoring, working with younger kids, which I really enjoyed. So I could see going into education, but I don't really know what I want to do career-wise yet.

My actual Day to Day role is Project Manager for a housebuilder.

70% emails

18% site work 

12% brown sticky stuff hitting the circulating ventilation system and having to fix it.

Went back to school since last January. Currently in college while in my 30s.... During a fucking Pandemic. I sure went back at the best of time, eh. Then again, it has some advantages since it is somewhat easier to pass my classes, having access to all my documentations for the exams.

IT Executive support. Supporting them CEO, CFO, CHRO, CIO, etc. As well as their executive teams. Plus I support one of the company's affiliates (all the guys not just their execs).

 

Basically I make sure WebExs work. lol
