What feature in your car could you not live without?

edit: oh and did i mention Auto transmission? because traffic jam on manual is a bish

I won’t drive an automatic lol, something about automatics is frustrating, it pisses me off when can’t get my engine to rev up before it switches gears. Being able to pop the car in second and tear out is so nice idk why.

Eh I'm not a car guy

Car is simply a tool to transport me from A to B, so whatever makes it comfortable to use is fine

Manual is more fun, I won't deny it

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Butt warmers.  Sounds stupid, but after having them it would be hard to go back.  There’s more winter than summer where I live.  Also I’m not sure you can even buy a car without air con anymore.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

A city boy. Living without a car is kind of location dependent.  It can be done in my town though it is difficult. It can be done in NewYork without effort.  A lot of other places it’s near impossible.

With the seasons changing my wife has become an Ice Queen, which is surprising since she lived in Florida for like 8 years. Thankfully the new car has tri-zone climate control and I'm loving it. What about you all?

Power steering makes my life better. Parking without it sucks.

Either way, can't live without a decent sound system. Including sub.

living in Minnesota heated seats are nice, fortunately my Saab from 2003 has that.
Now I only wished I had a heated steering wheel, that fucker can get cold.

I wished I had a back up camera and heated steering wheel

If we are talking about "creature comfort" things we "cant live without" then Im gonna say steering wheel mounted audio controls. Its one of those things that once you have them its super annoying to go back to not having them.

It’s pretty standard these days in the UK, very few will buy without.

Had to borrow my dad’s truck that has radio controls on the back of the steering wheel... damn, I missed using those getting back into my Saturn. All my car’s got on the wheel is cruise control functions.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

I do car audio install for a living and I cant count the number of times someone has changed out their head unit and didnt wanna pay for the module needed to retain the steering wheel controls only to come back a couple weeks later to have it installed because they realized how much they missed them after the fact

bluetooth audio.

radio stations and current 'hits' make my ears bleed tbh. i drive lots for my work, and if i had to do it in mainstream radio i'd probably lose my mind.

It's standard on all but the absolute most basic cars, or the proper lightweight stuff like the Lotus Elise. It's very useful for demisting (defogging) your windscreen (windshield).

And on the demisting theme, I would be very sad without heated mirrors.

@Moonzy

It's worth noting that Reliant didn't only make 3-wheelers, they also made 4 wheeled vehicles. Sabre, Scimitar, Kitten & Fox to name a few. The Fox originally being a Greek design (Mebea) using the Kitten chassis, the only difference being the Greek ones didn't have a front chin spoiler.
