What theme do you normally use? not just on the forum but in general.

i normally use light theme on everything, except my phone. i have the automatic mode switch on so that i don't get blinded if i check my phone at night.

Generally I use light theme because most of my work applications don't support any sort of dark theme so it's easier to move back and forth between work and home that way. I use dark themes on my phone though for sure.

Dark mode.

The only thing I don't use Dark Mode for is anything on Microsoft's partner center.

They really went for ALL DARK EVERYTHING with no concept of readability.

Generally I will use dark mode where-ever possible.

Only exception is when sharing my screen and showing code, as I know people find it easier to read code when it's not on their own screen in light mode.

We've recently started upgrading our VCenters at work to the newer web interfaces which have a built in dark mode. It makes me very happy that even enterprise applications are starting to implement dark themes.

I have extensions on pretty much everything that can have it to force dark mode.

generally dark...but some things (cough cough beta forum) don't have light, and people can't seem to read my screen if I'm sharing or something. Used to use dark reader but that broke too many sites and I got rid of it

Usually dark mode but for example in Notepad++ I have to use light mode in order to get the syntax detection thing to work.

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Dark mode all the things!

My eyes are incredibly bad at adjusting to changes in light, i need to wear sunglasses a lot of the time because of it. In order to keep light theme from giving me horrid migranes, the brightness needs to be so low that its not usable.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

Dark Mode where possible - not because I hate Light Mode or anything, it's just that I got used to it.

I actually really don't mind Light Mode, unless it's on a full brightness screen being jammed in my eyes at 4AM (but I probably wouldn't enjoy a screen at full brightness being jammed into my eyes at 4AM regardless of whether it was displaying whatever content in either Dark or Light Mode, so 757314353941970975.png?v=1).

They actually added dark mode to Google Docs on iOS a while back. So maybe they'll add it to their website in the future.

I don't really care and it depends on the app.

On Discord I like light with the dark navigation bar.

Thanks for reading all this by the way!

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

I generally use dark mode for apps and websites that I use regularly, however for anything OS related the default (light) theme usually as dark or "night" modes in these are usually atrocious and make things very hard to read (same as any "blue light filters", blue light did nothing wrong #freebluelight)
