Which is better the ryzen 5000 (cheapest version) or intel i7 9700k

Thats wat i did and the i7 performed better

By how much, a couple FPS? The difference is likely negligible and if you looked at numerous benchmarks u might see different results.

Bottom line is that everyone is nearly unanimous that a 10600k is the better CPU than a 9700k, and usually cheaper. So unless you get some insane deal on a 9700k I would avoid it. Thats just my opinion though. You do you.

Spoiler

The best 6-core will still likely be AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

And in games the 6/12 is very similar to 8/8, if not faster in similar "conditions"

I edit my posts more often than not

That channel doesn't chowcase the hardware in person, chances are it's just a "simulated performance" channel.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

AMD Ryzen 5 CPUs include CPU coolers.

you also get the option for a nice cheap A520 motherboard. A320 motherboards were pretty bad, but A520 allows for high ram speeds and many have good power delivery so you can upgrade plenty in the future.

I'm not giving away a PC, and also e-begging is not allowed on the forum. I am going to build a PC and then sell it, I guess you could buy it if you wanted but the easy-bake oven aesthetic isn't for everyone.

have a look at this instead

Hi Fasauceome! Its on sale for 292 on amazon its a steal ngl should I show screensots of my cart

292 isn't cheap enough, the 5600x will be faster for 299

the best bang for buck depending on ur budget is 3600, 10600k, 10700, or wait for 5600x, the 5800x is the worst value even compared to the 5900x and 5950x.

For pure gaming i'd just wait for the 5600x, picking it over even the 3700x unless you can get a 3700x for cheaps.

intel's slower in gaming once zen 3 comes out, but the 10700 for 300 is good value, it might beat the 5600x on games that use 8 cores.

Overall i recommend the 5600x for gaming with the 10700 being a close second if you like intel more.

Nothing if the price is right. I have a x58 system and happen to more then pleased with it. And I know others have built both x58 and x79 systems solely because xeons are cheap.

I only play really old games that can be easily played on a Pentium 3 system form 20 years ago. Most likely you haven't heard of any the games I play. The only reason I have such a new system is because I need it for work.

Ohh, well I do have a x299 system with a 9800x. So if I wanted to play a newer game I could. I just don't like new games. So I use the x58 system since I can dual boot Winxp witch is more compatible with some older games.

That's not to say a x58 system isn't useable for modern gaming. Its more then useable with the right GPU. But that's all off topic to your question here.
