What'd he do?

First he took a dremmel to standard hex security screws because he didn't have the correct bit to open them then in the next scenes shows himself at Target and openly admits he could have bought the bit for only a few dollars. Then after destroying the screws he jammed a paperclip into the PSU to try and short out the power switch, he ended up shorting out the entire PSU which went with a nice pop.

Quite frankly I don't see why so many people are upset about this. Nobody even knew it existed before, and I highly doubt anyone would have a use for it, and imo it doesn't even look interesting enough to sit on a shelf as a collector's piece.

The fact nobody knew it existed is exactly the reason why people are upset. It was 1 of only 8 previously unheard of machines and old IBM PCs are very collectable. There's lots of people who would pay silly money for one of them knowing it didn't actually work just to say they have one.

And I'm sorry but to dremmel the damn screws off of a prototype knowing he could have gotten the bit and was already going to place he needed to go to buy one is beyond stupid.

That part I can agree with, but it's an internal screw and nobody will ever notice unless the machine is opened for some reason.

Yeah... We filmed this a week and a bit ago, definitely bad timing for an MSI 3080 sponsor spot.

Wait, when I watched it was the manscaping sponsor.  I guess I'll watch the video again.

Wait -- it's still the manscaping sponsor.

It's about the first sponsor, MSI:

TL;DR: MSI subsidiary normally only has access to old products to sell, they somehow got access to new products and sold RTX 3080 cards for high prices.

Yeah, that MSI bit is fine.  It got sorted.  It just feels weird seeing a kids PC and then being sold something to trim around my adult regions.

I've always wondered how the hotwheels/barbie PC is connected to some barebones PC's my dad got 15+ years ago.
The cases have their differences, but the metal frame inside looks near identical.
Maybe another company made the cases for both of these PC's and reused the idea for the handle and the metal frame in a plastic case.
