Starwars Squadrons Crossplay Question

So i own starwars squadrons on xbox one but i was looking at picking it up on pc (as i own a vr headset and im looking at getting a joystick today or tomorrow) and im just wondering that if i use both the vr headset and joystick on the game will i be able to still play with my friends that own the game on xbox one?

I believe so, yes.  I will be testing it later in the week when one of my buddies picks it up for his Xbox.

There are some issues with flight stick performance.

yeah i doubt im going to be that good tbh, though i did really well in vr with a xbox controller, so now im just patiently waiting (i did also purchase elite dangerous today while waiting for the flight stick)
