Updating Drivers in Windows 10.

Go to solution Solved by demonix00,

Snappy driver installer origin is the only free option that doesn't try to install crap like the blue F of doom, but it doesn't have data for all devices and components and I have seen it suggest incompatible drivers for the GPU side of AMD APUs that aren't supported so I would recommend getting some drivers direct and not use some third party software to avoid driver compatibility issues.

Is there a good FREE program that will scan your hardware and update\install drivers that are needed?

A lot claim to do it until u attempt to then it asks for payment.

Identify the component who's driver you want to update and go to the manufacturer's website.

Drivers are best updated manually in my opinion. The last thing you'd want is to update a billion drivers at once only to find nothing works afterwards. I typically only update drivers if they add / fix / improve something I want although I do use Dell's command center every now and then on my laptop to just get it over with.

@demonix00 Ur a Genious mate, for 2 years almost even after a wipe and restall when ive been logging into Windows something has been installing as u will hear the system sound and then the system sound as if a device has been disconnected and i couldnt get to the bottom of it.

Just ran this program now and it said there were 9 drivers out of date and it installed new versions and i no longer have this issue.

Thanks Mate.
