Hmmm OK thanks, do you think the RTX 3070 would have a better chance?

I think so. The 3070 has a 220w TDP. If the mini card clocks a little bit lower and draws less power than a reference design. I won't be surprised a shorter card with a single fan cooler will hit the market.

I remember the RTX 2080 came in the mini version.

Silent Cerberus - Fractal Design Core500,Ryzen R7 3700x,Scythe Fuma 2,Gigabyte Aorus B550i Pro AX,Crucial Ballistix Elite 3200mhz cl16 16gb,Adata XPG SX8200 nvme 512gb m.2 ssd,Lexar NS100 1tb ssd,Red Dragon RX5700 8gb(bio flashed 5700xt),Corsair SF600 SFX 600w 80+ platinum F-Modular.

the 3080 consumes quite a bit more power than the 2080. the performance gains are great, but that heat has to go somewhere.

unlikely that the size is feasible.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Oh, thanks. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
