What cooler is this? what socket will it work with?

Hello

i am looking to buy a watercooler for a cheap build i am doing. found this old cooler master aio with 2 120mm fans on each side (don't know wich cooler or socket it fits). i have a 1366 motherboard will it work?

Looks like it has a AM(x) socket type of AMD's such as AM3 on the pump side. Intel's CPU cooler mounting points are typically in a X diagonal.

a hyper 212 evo would do as well as that cooler, why not go for a cheap tower cooler like that instead of a super cheap water cooler? you have the added benefit of not worrying about the unit failing and the water leaking.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Whether or not it is compatible, and even if it wasn't old and possibly about to die, you are probably better off with an air cooler

That looks like a rather old AIO design. Haven't seen stiff tubbing like that in years.

Especially an old water cooler. I would not risk taking a chance of damaging a socket 1366 motherboard which is Intel based and harder to replace as the most common motherboard manufacturers out there are not producing socket 1366 anytime soon. So to give more input on this, I would definitely not buy the water cooler since its older and go with an air cooler.

This looks like the Cooler Master Seidon 120V, some variant of the RL-S12V-24PK-R1 SKU perhaps (below). Judging from reviews/discussions dated as far back as 2013, I'd guesstimate your particular unit is around 6-7 years old, but the fans appears to be a more recent CM design.

I suspect the circled bracket is what you'd need for Intel sockets:

Master Liquid 120. It should work on any socket with a proper adapter.
