Posted September 28, 2020 into the headers on the motherboard for the fans. your mobo manual will tell you where the headers are, and what they are for, ie cpu fan, water pump, case fans, ect. the mobo itself should be labeled next to the headers as well. these will plug into the 4 pin headers just fine. Posted September 28, 2020 That's a molex connector, is that for the fans? If so, they are used to connect the fans directly to the power supply. Unless your motherboard has some special color scheme, usually the socket is white and fits only 1 way. Number of pins matters only when controlling fans. E: Merged threads. Please don't post multiple times about same thing. To molex question. If fan has both 3pin and molex, only use one of them. Using both can cause issues.
