Also used to run a custom Celeron something that is older than the two above. 

They not just room strong, we recently added win 10 on optiplex...

I think electronical devices last a long time especially if you don't run them outside of their intended specifications (aka no modding, hacking etc)

TVs last a while. I have a 2007 model, outdated, that refuses to die.

I need an excuse for a smort tv and pair it with an xbox one s from ebay for the ultimate Netflix experience, along with some Rocket League and Minecraft.

 

also my MacBook Air 2011. It has been used hardcore straight from the day I bought it until August, when I officially retired it. I have Ubuntu on it now, and no matter how many times I drop it, use it, etc it keeps going.

My family also has 2007 tv. 2007 sony bravia (PAL, although it supports ntsc too). Its panel burns in image after 5 minutes, but it works,

I'm typing this on the same Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse I bought for my very first PC build in 2001. The mouse even had a battery leak recently but its still going. It was the first ever wireless optical mouse.

I've got a Lenovo T500 that I got in 2009 that's still going. My phone is also a five year old Blackberry that I'm determined to use until it dies.

At my work our barcode blasters are over a decade old. They are mobile motorola PCs that run embedded windows. They have a total of 256mb of memory another guy figured out the other day. BTW they cost thousands of dollars each.

I also have logitech's wireless mouse. Its so old it was advertised as one of earlyest wireless mouses with "nano" USB plug. It worked for over 10 years, and still does

I own a Logitech G600 MMO mouse.

I've been gaming on it for over 8 years, the funny part is, when I had it for 2 years I bought another one.

I loved the mouse so much I wanted a spare in case it ever broke down.

The spare has been sitting in my closet for 6 years, now the G600 is hardly available and went from 60€ to 100€.

 

My wife needs a new mouse, and will probably get one like the G600, but I don't want to give my spare up.

This mouse won't die, I have with all my game time probably well over 10000 hours played on MMO's on it, that's not counting other use.

 

So no, it will not die.

I have a HP G32 13 inch laptop from around 2011, it have a first gen core i3 390M and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470. It was originally my sister's laptop until she got a Mac Book 2015 at that year and then handed it down to me, I'm still using that as my daily laptop driver but with 240GB Kingston A400 2.5 inch SSD and Lubuntu since that laptop can't run Win 10 smoothly

I only changed the case recently because I got sick of the huge Phanteks Enthoo tower I was using. I was clueless back then and decided to buy a huge tower case even though I was only using air cooling. I never had any issues with it but I am going to give it away soon and build a new PC with the new AMD processors coming out on the 8th.

Does the computer on a 1981 motorcycle count? While driving down the highway, it blew out the seal at the crank case and barfed all it's oil on the road. I was desperately looking for a safe place to pull over when the bike decided for me. It shut its engine off on its own, because the computer read there was too little oil in the engine and smartly decided to shut the whole bike off before any damage could happen. If it weren't for that Japanese made and programmed computer from 1981, I would no longer have said bike. The bike lives and is my daily driver

Same, I have the OG iPod too and people used to run with spindle hard drives attached to their arms lol
