2 of the 3 games you've listed are free. Why not just try them and see what performance you get?

A 9800 is going to have a real hard time running anything from the last !5 years. That GPU is ~10 years old, a lot has changed since then....

It may run them at 720p without too much issue, fortnite at least. Fortnite is free..... so if you have the system give it a shot!

Is that a GTX 980, if so then you can probably run most things just at far from max settings. If that's a 9800 GTX then you might hit some walls because of APIs and other features that that old card dosnt support

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.

As Fatih says, Fortnite and Valorant are free - so there's nothing stopping you downloading them and trying to tinker with your settings.

I mean, they can get Fortnite (well, a version of) to run on mobile and Switch, so it isn't the most demanding game to get up and running.

Yes, obviously, if you have the components it can look nice - with all the expected effects and clarity, and high fps.

Most top players turn everything down to achieve maximum fps anyway, so your experience won't be as terrible as you might think...if it'll run.

Unless your data allowance makes it difficult to download those games, or you don't have the time, I say just go for it, mate.

At least you'll know for certain one way or another.
