I wanted to know if a ryzen 5 2600x will bottleneck the rtx 3080 at 4k@60hz? If so, will it bottleneck badly?

for most cases, it wont be an issue

2600x should be able to run most games above 60fps, notable exception is flight sim 2020

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

The higher the cpu frequency, the less bottle necking you'll have.

4ghz 2600X vs a 5ghz Intel (anything really) would be a pretty clear difference in performance.

try to oc it or take 3800,

but its nothing for 3080.

take at least 3700 or 2700 and oc a bit 

but dont wory you can game over 60fps minimum.
