Auros Elite x570 Very Slow To Boot And Slow System

Josh4u2020

Hi Folks

Just built a new system and it seems to be very slow to boot up and also very slow when running programs or moving files to the windows 10 mirrored storage space drives.

It can take a couple of minutes from powering on to get to the login screen for windows 10 which I was not expecting.

Nothing else attached to the system apart from mouse and keyboard and the components listed below.

Motherboard firmware on the latest release and all the latest drivers from Gigabyte installed.

I've NOT overclocked the system in any way apart from applying the XMP for the ram - nothing else.

Motherboard set for "optimised defaults"

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

New specs of the system below.

MOBO: Auros Elite X570 latest firmware (F30)

CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X using the supplied Wraith Cooler
RAM: 2 x 16Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 MHz C16 XMP 2.0 (XMP Applied)
STORAGE: 1 x Seagate FireCuda 520 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe
STORAGE: 2 x Western Digital Red WD40EFRX 4TB (Windows 10 Storage Space 2 Way Mirrored)
GRAPHICS: GeForce GT730 (system not used for gaming just needed dual output) Latest Nvidea Driver for this card used (23.21.13.9135 from March 2018)
PSU: Coolermaster GX650W Bronze
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro x64

Make sure you are running Windows of the ssd, also check BIOS settings. Settings like fast boot, secure boot and UEFI/BIOS mode can affect your BIOS times significantly.

Thanks guys appreciate the replies, Yes ram in slots 2 and 4 and also the motherboard set for default but CSM turned off and UEFi seems to all be on.

Should fast boot and secure boot be on or off for better loading times.

My 10 year old system seemed to be faster than this lol
