i need help with the hp dv5 laptop from 2008

Go to solution Solved by SupaKomputa,

well first if you wan't an instant boost you need to buy a SSD.

second you can upgrade the ram to 6 or 8gb, that is if you can find 4gb ddr2 modules (it exist, i have one).

third you may want another HDD for extra space, you need to buy a HDD Caddy to replace your optical drive.

Fourth, you can actually upgrade the CPU to Quad core if the model supports it. But this kinda experimental, so you've been warned.

Well that's all you can do.

That laptop is too old.

i need help with the performance and the laptop fan soo yea

also some performance upgrades please

also the laptop specs is: geforce 9800g gt graphics card

and the cpu is: core 2 duo t9400

and the memory size is: 3 gb

and i have 1 hdd with 3 partitions on it with its full size bieng 438 gb

Other than getting a SSD and maybe upgrading to the maximum support RAM capacity of 8GB, not much you can do.

Doubt that thing would be able to pull off 4K YouTube.

That is actually false. Intel hd graphics have long since gone far past the performance of a 9800 gt mobile.
