Was looking into going all out and upgrading again and have been drawn to the Asus Tuf Boards (maybe its asthetic thing love me some black and yellow) Im gonna be running hopefully A Ryzen 9 series and a RTX 3080 when i can get my hands on one, but I haven't seen to much on the Tuf boards and my friend lives and dies by gigabyte. If anyone has any info I would love to hear from you :)

The x570 tuf is decent, it uses 12 sic639 and will easily handle a 3900x, budget for a board? and currency and location? but this board is pretty good.

Wārudobītā

CPU: Ryzen 3 3100. Board: B550m TUF plus. Memory: 16 (2x8) 3200 cl16 Hyper x Fury RGB. GPU: Gigabyte Windforce 1650 super.  Boot Drive: MX500. Case: Antec NX500 (Quite crappy. :p) PSU: CX450.

Hehe, Meshify c is a kewl case.

personally own a R9 3900x with x570 TUF wifi

had issues with it, right after installing windows it just BSOD, had to turn off WiFi in bios to be able to load into windows (the default driver for wifi probably caused the crash)

and RAM speed wouldn't apply well, had to reset bios several times to get it to apply

now im not sure if RAM is board specific, but several other people have 3900x and x570 TUF WiFi have had the same issue with WiFi, so there's a tip for you if you want to use it

and after updating to latest bios, i only had to apply my RAM speed once and it sticks, not sure if im lucky or they fixed it.

newer boards might have later bioses too, which probably fixed the wifi issue by now.

that said, it's a decent board once you get it working, never had other issues with it once you iron it out.

it's a good board for the value.

edit:

"BUGCODE_NDIS_DRIVER" is the error code for x570 TUF wifi issue if you wanna look it up yourself

Things I need help with:

Spoiler

none atm

I hate Intel's pricing, Ryzen's weird quirks, Nvidia's pricing, and Radeon GPUs in general

Spoiler

Products I like:

Spoiler

Sony Xperia Z1 / Z2 / 10 ii, Asus Strix 970 / 1070, Samsung SSD, WD HDD, Corsair PSUs (AX, RM, CX(grey)), GeForce GPU, NZXT N450/S340, be quiet! Coolers, G.Skill Trident RAM, Logitech M525, Logitech G440, Razer Deathadder Elite

Products I hate:

Spoiler

Xperia Z3, XiaoMi 5c, Radeon GPUs, Razer Audio Products, any bloatwares

Companies I absolutely adore: (and hope it stays that way)

Spoiler

be quiet! - sent me AM4 mounting for my DRP3 even though it's way past the timeframe stated, no questions asked

Corsair - very good RMA experience, absolutely recommend

Companies I hate:

Spoiler

Nvidia, Intel, Apple, TMT (Thundermatch, a retailer)

Personal Blacklisted Companies:

Spoiler

Acer: shit tier quality products, shit tier customer service thus far, they "tried" to solve my issue but they arent really doing anything but delaying and delaying. (on-going case since July)

Gigabyte: horrible customer service (gigabyte had literally 0 customer service, asked me to go to retailer with NO WAY to email them about a question) but at least they fixed my shit in ONE MONTH (would probably take me 1 hour to fix if they let me email them)

XiaoMi Phones: built like a tank but the software is buggy as all hell

Seagate HDD: had too many dead seagate drives

Kingston SSD: 300V controller swap thingy

Razer (except their mouse)

Remember, just because I had good/bad experiences with these companies/product, doesn't mean you will have similar experiences too. I would still recommend these products if they made sense for your needs, but I'll add a disclaimer of my experience if it's relevant. Feel free to DM me asking why they are where they are.

About $200 for a board I would not want to go above that and US/Ca, and as long as it can take a beating I'm running on a gigabyte Am350m-Gaming3 board so anything is a upgrade at this point lol

To name some, or the x570 tomahawk if you can find one, but if you want to go for the x570 tuf, then sure, it's a good board.
