How can I check if my rear IO USB C port works?

I'll need a USB C port for the Quest 2 and stuff, but apparently a lot of people couldn't connect their Quest 1 through rear IO's USB C port, so I'd like to test if it is working or not (my mobo is a B450M ASRock Pro4). I could just buy a USB C to USB A adapter, or an extension card, but of course not spending money would be better.
