My thoughts

This seems pretty plausible as DBrand wouldn't make phone cases unless they have final samples for the planned launch. The preorder ship date for October also gives some credibility to the rumors of an announcement event and subsequent release sometime in October. To me, it doesn't make a ton of sense for Apple to release a phone super late into the holiday cycle (like in November) as there's less time to generate hype and marketing around the new phones to turn into sales.

Wow this information was so enlightening now I know approximately the size of the camera on a phone that is more expensive than my laptop. But for real it still baffles me that 1000+ phones exist.
