is this psu ok for lower end pc? don't have gpu, I'm only using vega 8 graphics from ryzen 3 2200g

for budget I'm assuming it's in usd, can I get a decent one at around 25 to 50 usd? I only have a low end pc btw a biostar A320MH, ryzen 3 2200g, a1 stick of ddr4 8gb or ram(planning to buy another one), a WD 240 sata ssd, and an acer V196HQL monitor, doesn't even have gpu.

Yeah i think to get most eyes on it, is make a seperate topic for that question. (USD works but since it needs to be sourced localy also local currency helps, there are ppl from all over the world in here.)
Remember the better you make that post look the better the results might be.

 

Also pretty sure if you not planning on putting a GPU in there 500Watts is way overkill.

The CPU would barely reach 100Watts used then a HDD is about 5-10Watts mother board takes around 20Watts. So you could even do with a 200Watt PSU.
But to be safe i would recommend a 300Watt-ish quality PSU.

Thermaltake Smart 430W

The 80+ rating is about the efficiency of the PSU. Your house's voltage is probably somewhere between 120 and 240 volts, but your PC parts don't run at that voltage. They mostly run on 12v, 5v or 3.3v power.

A PSU takes your mains 120-240v and converts it to 3.3v-12v power. In converting this power, there is some ineffeciency. The 80+ rating has various level (white, bronze, silver, gold, etc.) with varying levels of efficiency but they start (as the 80+ name suggests) at 80% efficiency and go up.

 

Anyways, this efficiency rating is mostly irrelevant when picking out a PSU, because it is not a quality rating. There are numerous components in a PSU, which need to be of sufficient quality.

 

Without knowing what PC parts you're getting, it's hard to say what sort of quality of PSU you need (as you can imagine a system with no videocard vs. a dual RTX 3080 needs a way different quality tier of PSU).

This Thermaltake PSU is not great though and I cannot recommend it.

 

Please list the components in your PC (at least the CPU, videocard and case) and rough budget on the PSU for some different recommendations.

Efficiency is how much power the psu draws from the wall to supply the needed power for the build. it has nothing to do with quality.

anyways here are the specifications of my low end pc:

 

ryzen 3 2200g(and a stock cpu cooler)

Biostar A320MH

WD Green ssd 240Gb

1 stick of 8Gb ram (planning to buy another one)

a 24 inch led monitor

i don't have any GPU

and planning to add 2 case fans

don't know what brand my case is though but it's a generic one that comes with a psu

 

my budget is around 25-50$

my budget is around 25-50$ (1200-2500pesos) in my currency, location is philippines currency is peso, the standard voltage in our country is 220V with 60Hz

Both are slightly out of this budget, but these would be the cheapest PSU's I would be comfortable recommending.

I saw on PSU calculator and it's on 320-ish W.

Is it actually good enough to use a 450W PSU for this build? Previously he's using a 500W XFX XT (and yes, shady af brand turns out. Can't even find a contact of the local company. Seller claims it's Seasonic's OEM lol) that suddenly dies of no reason.

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately can't even find any single one CX 450 on the market. All of the CX variant started on 550 and it's way beyond of the budget.
