What does 'slow' and 'low fps' mean?

What games, what FPS, how are you measuring these things?

What monitor do you have and what refresh rate?

Define 'slow', what context? Booting? Loading games? Everything? A specific task not mentioned?

did this problem develop recently? I suspect it is a software problem. It is possible for hardware to gradually slow down, but if it is broken it probably wouldn't work at all.

I don't open this forum very often, so you should probably ask other people if this one comment doesn't solve it, but here we go: Check if you have viruses, but having multiple anti-virus programs can also decrease performance. Are the drivers and windows itself installed properly?

If you can't figure it out, make a new thread, but post a complete list of important PC components (preferabbly in text, not a bunch of pictures), and define what 'slow' means. What game/program, how low is the fps? what resolution are you playing in? If you provide this information in an orderly manner, it will be easier for people to help you.
