i5 3340 with GTX 1650 Super ?

Hello friends. As you can see from the title I have an old PC and I wanna upgrade it. I have an i5 3340 CPU, DDR3 8 GB RAM with GT 630 and I'll change it with EVGA 1650 Super.  My question is how bad is it gonna work?

Some online calculators say it's gonna run GTA V with 40 FPS on med

https://pc-builds.com/cyri/Core_i5-3340/GeForce_GTX_1650_SUPER/0xp15d/8/100/?gameList=(1X)

Some others say it's gonna run everything on high with 70+ FPS on 1080p

https://www.gpucheck.com/gpu/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1650-super/intel-core-i5-3340-3-10ghz/high/

I'm really really confused so it would be awesome if you help me out.

Peace

you are going to have a cpu bottle neck. this is a really bad idea. its going to run bad because your cpu wont be able to keep up with your gpu. your gpu can pull off 70+ fps on 1080p because it has a modern architecture and a excellent choice of budget gpu. the i5 3340 is based on a older architecture and wont be good for gaming

PC specs:

Ryzen 9 3900X overclocked to 4.3-4.4 GHz

Corsair H100i platinum

32 GB Trident Z RGB 3200 MHz 14-14-14-34

RTX 2060

MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge wifi

NZXT H510

Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

2 TB WD hard drive

Corsair RM 750 Watt

ASUS ROG PG248Q

Razer Ornata Chroma

Razer Firefly

Razer Deathadder 2013

Logitech G935 Wireless

I wouldn't put as much into it as a 1650 super

Maybe look for a used RX 570 or something similar? 1650S just seems like a waste

Soooo that means I'm not gonna see that 70 FPS? I know it's a disrespect to card's actual performance, I'll upgrade my PC to Ryzen 5 in the future but I was just wondering if this gonna let me play around for a while.

Thanks for advice but I don't wanna buy broken RX 570 like my friends did :// Buying used stuff is risky thing to do in my country.

idk much about GTA, but the 1650S paired with a quad core i5 is a decent pairing.

i ran my quad core i5 6600 with a 970, which is about the same performance tier with it, works fine.

the i5 3340 isnt too much slower.

yeap it'll work just fine, especially if you're looking to upgrade your CPU soon

Things I need help with:

Spoiler

none atm

I hate Intel's pricing, Ryzen's weird quirks, Nvidia's pricing, and Radeon GPUs in general

Spoiler

Products I like:

Spoiler

Sony Xperia Z1 / Z2 / 10 ii, Asus Strix 970 / 1070, Samsung SSD, WD HDD, Corsair PSUs (AX, RM, CX(grey)), GeForce GPU, NZXT N450/S340, be quiet! Coolers, G.Skill Trident RAM, Logitech M525, Logitech G440, Razer Deathadder Elite

Products I hate:

Spoiler

Xperia Z3, XiaoMi 5c, Radeon GPUs, Razer Audio Products, any bloatwares

Companies I absolutely adore: (and hope it stays that way)

Spoiler

be quiet! - sent me AM4 mounting for my DRP3 even though it's way past the timeframe stated, no questions asked

Corsair - very good RMA experience, absolutely recommend

Companies I hate:

Spoiler

Nvidia, Intel, Apple, TMT (Thundermatch, a retailer)

Personal Blacklisted Companies:

Spoiler

Acer: shit tier quality products, shit tier customer service thus far, they "tried" to solve my issue but they arent really doing anything but delaying and delaying. (on-going case since July)

Gigabyte: horrible customer service (gigabyte had literally 0 customer service, asked me to go to retailer with NO WAY to email them about a question) but at least they fixed my shit in ONE MONTH (would probably take me 1 hour to fix if they let me email them)

XiaoMi Phones: built like a tank but the software is buggy as all hell

Seagate HDD: had too many dead seagate drives

Kingston SSD: 300V controller swap thingy

Razer (except their mouse)

Remember, just because I had good/bad experiences with these companies/product, doesn't mean you will have similar experiences too. I would still recommend these products if they made sense for your needs, but I'll add a disclaimer of my experience if it's relevant. Feel free to DM me asking why they are where they are.

I saw some tests on 1650s with G4560 and they're pretty decent actually. I mean I have 60 Hz monitor anyways, more than 60 FPS isn't my interest right now. G4560 is much more newer than my i5 3340 but when I look at the numbers they saying my old man is stronger and mine has 4 cores while G4560 only has 2. Again, I'm confused...

It is about 150$. I'll buy PSU and GPU with credit card. So yeah. it is tight.

The thing is motherboard is old too. It's LGA 1155 and I couln't find any nice intel upgrades for 1155. I'll buy Ryzen 5 with ryzen supporter motherboard in the future.

i7 3770k is probably the best cpu you could have on lga 1155 ... the non K version should be a bit less expensive but seriously it's a bit old and considering ryzen 5 is really a good idea.  ... unless you find a super deal and get a cpu for about 50$
