It's called Wandering Earth  ... and it's actually based on a real book, that's reviewed quite well (didn't manage to read it yet, it's in my queue) and won the China Galaxy Science Fiction Award of 2000 for whatever that's worth : The Wandering Earth by Liu Cixin

 

The author has even better sci-fi books, like the Remembrance of Earth's Past series (The Three Body Problem, Dark Forest, Death's End) : Remembrance of Earth's Past Series by Liu Cixin - first book got the Hugo award and the 2nd and 3rd book in the series are even better than the first.
