Discord wasnt working after I updated it so I uninstalled it. It broke even more now.

So After i did a discord update everytime I closed it down It wouldnt load back up again. so I uninstalled it and now I get this error and this text file. I have zero clue what to do

Uninstall Discord and delete the folders %appdata%/Discord and %localappdata%/Discord.

Make sure to quote me or use @PorkishPig to notify me that you replied!

Thank you that fixed me being unable to uninstall it but it still doesnt load up

no its just every time i close it and let it run in the background, if i try to pull it up again it doesnt appear on my screen at all

This looks to be a bug with the latest release, see https://www.reddit.com/r/discordapp/comments/iql4ak/minimized_discord_not_reopening/. AFAIK this issue does not exist in Discord's Public Test Build (PTB), which you can get from https://dl-ptb.discordapp.net/apps/win/0.0.55/DiscordPTBSetup.exe.

Yep i found out all my mates had the problem too, they couldn't contact me because discord wasnt working. Atleast its fixed now
