Posted September 11, 2020 I will just buy what is the best for my use case regardless of brand, if both have similar offerings for the same price I would favor AMD. Realistically, my next CPU is probably going to be AMD, because i would like a nice efficient 16 core CPU hopefully for $350 or so in the next few years and at this point Intel seems pretty far away from being able to realize that, while on AMD side they already got the CPU, just need to drop the price. It's really difficult to take advantage of those exploits in a realistic situation (it's in THEORY), and it doesn't affect most consumers/enterprises at all. Stop the "AMD good" "Intel bad" pathetic claims/AMD fanboying. TBH if i don't NEED PCIe GEN4, i would still go Intel for enterprise because according to what I've seen Intel is simply plain better in that territory. AMD still has a whole lot to improve there. However in the consumer space i would definitely go ryzen for the amazing value and feature set. And for a point AMD isn't "THAT" consumer friendly after all, what made Intel act like this is that there was simply no competition, no alternative. I simply have no brand loyalty whatsoever and i just buy what suits my needs at the best price. Please quote or tag me @Void Master,so i can see your reply.
