cpu/gpu water cooling need help!

hello  im looking to build a custom loop with the new 30 series cards im looking to get the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 hydro copper  but i have a few questions im running a I9-9900K @5.1 GHZ( idel temp 39°c MAX under 100% load(cinebench score 4883) 93°c max i know 93°c is a lil hot but i only game on it so max load is 70% and it was my first ever overclock😄  im cooling it with a aio 360 radiator the question i have is will a singel 360 radiator be able to cool my cpu and gpu ?? thx

ps sorry for my english

Depends on the thickness, and the amount of airflow/noise you are willing to put up with.

9900K@5.1 is around 250W, 3090 is a 350W tdp but the hydrocopper will probably be more like 400-450W, so expect to have to dissipate around 700W of heat.

EK rates their slim 360 radiators at 574W at max fans and 15 degrees dT, so it would probably be doable with good case airflow and a bit less agressive power curves. A thicker radiator with good fans would handle it fine.

Are you pulling the radiator off an AIO? Generally those radiators are aluminum and therefore not compatible with conventional copper parts.

@Grabhanem no im buying a new radiator

Alright, then a thick 360mm rad with decent fans (EK Vardars are powerful but loud, Noctua A12x25s are powerful and quiet but expensive) will be good.

depends on your current pc case & ambient temperatures too

i would use 360 gts + 280 /240 xr5 rad

Ryzen 5700x + EK Supremacy D-RGB | 2x8 GB DDR4 Klevv 3200 MT/s | MSI B550M Mortar | Palit 3070 GamingPro LHR + Bykski N-PT3070PRO-X | Corsair RM750 | Alphacool EPDM + QDC | Aquacomputer Quadro + HighFlow2 | EK D5 XTOP | Freezemod 360 30mm rad + Barrow Dabel-20b 360 20mm | Barrow & Freezemod fittings | Corsair 5000D Airflow

Audio: beyerdynamic DT 900 Pro X + iFi ZEN Air DAC + Razer Seiren Mini

I would also go dual rad in this instance. If you're overclocking a good rule of thumb is a minimum of 240mm per component.

Nope, you only need 1 pump. A decent res/pump combo with a DDC or D5 will be fine.
