buiding new PC for Zen 3 x570 motherboard

scott815

I am building a new PC and have gotten so far a aorus x570 elite motherboard with a be quiet case, eva 750w gold power supply.  I have a budget of 400 dollars now and aother 200 in a month left for CPU and hard drive.  Trying to decide should i get a pci gen 4 m2 hard drive and get a basic AMD cpu for now like 3100, 3200g or go with a 3600 and gen 3 ssd.  When it comes to graphics I have a older card i can use for now or i can pull a nividia 1080 i have on another machine but for right now I will only be using for programming and running linux but will be looking to upgrade to new videos card once they shake out and run microsoft new flight sim.  Any suggestion on what the best course of action moving forward?

strictly between these two, gen 3 drive and a 3600, unless you're saturating gen 3 bandwidth, gen 4 is useless.

Budget for a build?

Workload?

But strictly between these two, the 3600 and gen 3 drive, gen 4 drives do not matter for a casual user.

i mean you could if you want, or you could just wait. though you'll need a bios update if you want for zen 3 with this board. and the board does not have a bios flashback so you will need a zen 2 cpu to update it or ask a computer store to update it for you.
