RTX 3000 Series...where are all the reviews?

Mondas42

I’d off thought that by now we would have seen some reviews of these cards, it’s only just a week or so to go before they hit the shelf’s and I would have expected Nvidia to send pre-launch cards to reviewers to test by now?? Or if I put on my Tin foil hat, is nvidia not certain of What the the reviews will say and are not sending out pre-launch cards??

Reviews go live the day of release like most every other company does. digital foundry had a limited pre-look at them that you can check out.

AFAIK those cards have not been sent out yet or are still in pre-production. With any event, you are trying to create interest to boost investments, not pre-orders but actual investments into the company first. I don't think we will see them in shelves before the end of the month. I mean there is no rush, it's not like AMD has anything to rival their new cards anytime soon.

Embargo for founders edition lifts on the 14th iirc, 17th for everything else.  You do realize that an announcement does not necessarily correlate with reviews coming out right?

Ahh ok. If I’m honest I thought they would send out some pre launch cards. Wasn’t aware that this isn’t the case.

No, they do send out pre-launch cards.  However, they set a press embargo so that everyone releases their reviews when Nvidia allows them to.

I was planning on buy a card on launch day, but now I know that, I will wait until the second wave of cards to be available as I guess it will be in short supply.....oh well maybe a Xmas pressie for myself.
