SSD dont show up again, W7, Shuttle Pc

Required

Hey Guys

I got a new SSD its this one: https://www.transcend-info.com/Products/No-991

The Problem the BIOS say not M.2 Dedect and Win show me a Unknown PCI-E Device.

I try to find different Driver but nobody seem to work?!

Does anyone have an idea how to get them looking up in Win7?

If I see them I would install the Win directly onto.

Thanks

Do you have something plugged into the SATA ports? Often a M.2 slot can be disabled if something is plugged in some SATA ports, you can find the info in your motherboard manual.

Also, why you're still using Windows 7 in 2020?

Running a unpatched OS isn't the way to go... You should be able to activate Windows 10 with your Windows 7 license.

What's the brand and model of your motherboard?

Try a linux bootable usb.

I think windows 7 is your issue, as it doesn't have nvme boot support.

Really go windows 10, much more secure, and much better hardware support. Your gonna have to switch to windows 10 or linux pretty soon if you want to keep using new programs and websites.

You bought an NVMe SSD (M key) which is not supported on this motherboard, you need a SATA M.2 SSD (M + B key).

hmm the SSD fit perfectly into the Slot?!

Hmm I must looking for an Image.

The Major Problem is the SSD is not showing up in the BIOS. And in the Win7 I see a Unknown PCI-E Device.

Do you have the latest version of the BIOS? If not update the BIOS please.

You can create a Windows 10 bootable USB stick using the Microsoft tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

So theoretically I could install Win10 on the SSD if not some weird stuff are. I saw a 1TB space in the Installer.

Sry here its 1:30 and I am going to bed now... I guess in the Win7 on the HDD are "just" driver missing.

Does anyone know what Driver for the SSD I could try?

Thanks
