How Above 4G memory / Crypto Currency mining can affect GPU lifetime

Damage?  No.  This is likely the same as "Compute Mode" for AMD which achieves basically the same thing - double hash rate.  

 

How?  Its a driver option to change how its crunching the numbers (basic way of explaining it) as its not seeking to build frames, just crunch numbers instead.

I have a single GPU (GTX 1660 Super OC 6GB) but enabling "Above 4G memory / Crypto Currency mining" in MSI BIOS, almost doubled the mining income, so how it can affect the GPU life, and how it even worked as doubling the mining rate??!

perhaps the algo requires more than 4GB(most algo nowadays do) and it has been accessing system memory for that (which is much slower)

 

as for damaging the card, as long as temps arent too high, it should be fine.

Compute mode for AMD also improved framerates by about 10-15% on the RX 580 in both synthetic benchmarks and games, so there's that.

Exact opposite experiences with Compute mode across R9 Fury/R9 Fury X/HD 7850/R7 260X/Radeon VII's (AMD cards I hash with)

 

Frames tank like a sombish.  Unplayable.

Dunno what to tell you, but that was my experience setting it up on my brother's system. Maybe it has something to do with his CPU being a 2200G, but it was getting a 10-15% increase in framerates, a 5% increase in stable overclocking headroom, and 5% lower temps across the board. I could find no information whatsoever about what the setting did when I first enabled it.
