Stoigeboiii

Do we know when reviewers will be allowed to release benchmarks of the new gpus so we can know if they're good!

As I learned from someone on the forum (i don’t remember who), digital foundry already has some. They got early access to the 3080. I haven’t seen the whole thing yet, but based on the beginning performance is promising. But as said in the intro, the games were selected by nvidia so they likely show the best case scenarios.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

Based on Nvidia's past - the cards will probably perform similarly to previous gen cards but move one tier up:

3080 = 2080 Ti

3070 = 2080

3060 = 2070

2660? = 2060

2650? = 1660/Ti

Another possible list:

3080 = 2080 Ti

3070 = 2080 Super

3060 = 2070 Super

2660? = 2070

2650? = 2060

Example from the past:

2080 = 1080 Ti

2070 = 1080

2060 = 1070 Ti

1660 Ti = 1070

1650 = 1060
