For keyboard/mouse batteries. it's an option to integrate a battery charger inside the desk, into the side or something so they aren't in view but are in reach when needed.

I weep whenever I see these clean setups. I have a work laptop with a docking station and a desktop, and two 32'' monitors on my desk, with multiple switches to switch the peripherals between the laptop dock and desktop: two displayport switches and a usb switch going into a 10-port usb hub (with 9 ports actually permanently populated). The volume of cables on the desk is ridiculous, but I really don't think it's possible to clean that up unless going to unreasonable expense.

This did give me the idea though to at least get a double-monitor vesa mount stand thingy to mount to the back of the table, instead of having the two giant monitor legs taking up space on the table, those don't seem very expensive.

Guys, can y'all make a detailed video or rather just help me with the "one cable laptop to gaming pc" thing from the last build of yours?

Is it just me or this video and the link to total waste of time?
I came here to check out some build plans.

Echoing what others said, I couldn't find the CAD files, and also would appreciate it if you all could post a full bill of materials.

I am specifically curious about the USB C storage device you used as the steam library, but having all of those parts available for reference would be helpful.

Liked the video though. Cool concept to delivery showing what tools you reasonably need to do a project like this.

The "maybe drill a hole in the stand" part sounds like something LG should do directly at the factory. After all, it is just a hole and it would provide an actual useful feature.

Though, when first seeing the thumbnail, I didn't see the PC besides it.
So my thought were, "Linus already finished his 1U desk PC?!..."

But this desk seems like a very reasonable start to a proper desk PC.
Though, would have made an area that is a bit like a shelf besides the USB hub, so that one can place drives and such there when they are used. Instead of awkwardly reaching up onto the desk where they can get easily knocked down.

I'm surprised in at least the hub section the table was not secured in place, also you don't want to use 320/400 on wood, you can carefully, but 800 or higher is better. Unless you like burnt wood. If you want to keep the woods true color you don't want to power sand 320/400 or sand it too hard/long in the same spot by hand.

One could use the hub for audio, but in this specific video I would say the main point was the monitor more than anything, imo a better sponsor spot for LGs monitor would have been the actual build I'm looking forward to seeing with everything built into the desk.

I really like the look of that assymetrical monitor. That one visible cable behind the monitor stand though...

The table is really great.

Is that stand available separately?

Already got two 4k 28" monitors so not looking to replace them but the mounts look good.

On the topic of removing as many wires as possible, Linus mentioned that you guys hadn't heard of a wireless display technology. However the tech does exists and is displayed in a semi-recent video by ETA Prime. While I don't think it would have made this specific desk any cleaner than it already is, it is certainly an interesting piece of kit.
