games crashing out of video memory vega 11

i have never ever had this problem with any games i play till last night and today

games will freeze and crash or give me out of video memory ect  i only have 1 stick of 8gb ram i know i need more will update soon
but why only now am getting these problems i did a memtest and it had no problems

i tried installing new amd software update did not help

also i have not changed anything on my computer or in the bios so i have no idea what is causing this

video memory is the memory on your gpu.

i assume you're using a gt710

probably because the game you're playing has some settings turned up that use a lot of VM i belive settings such as FFX and anti aliasing are ones that usually require the most, try checking thoose settings.

vega 11 has 2gb of vram right? after the vram rusn out the game starts using your ram. after the ram runs out it starts using yoru harddrive. im pretty sure than when the 2gb of vram runs out, the game uses too much of ram so the system has to crash the game.

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

today being Tuesday on sunday games ran perfect and i have no changed any setting in the games or on my pc and today i get this problem

EG in fortnite i even set everything low shadows off and the  3d rendering scale to the lowest and game has random freeze stutters and sometimes stops responding

VALORANT when i load into a game just crash saying out of video memory :(

don't theese games have a sliding bar that shows how much VRAM you're using with the specific graphics settings you're using?

why only now do games seem to want more vram? when i never had this problem before?
