What bios does the ASRock b459 pro 4 ship with

Building a new system for a friend and I want to know if I have to update the bios to take ryzen 5 3600. 
also what motherboards ship with the latest one is it the only the MAX ones or not

The B450 pro4 ships with whatever the newest BIOS version was when it was manufactured. You won't know what that date was though.

 

The B450M/AC, which is basically this board but with wifi, came out after third gen was released, so it will have an updated BIOS.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
