Meh, weekly Steam maintenance. Nothing to fret about.

Do they normally take the web store offline for maintenance?

Meh, Valve tends to do it in the 4-7PM time bracket (well, in CST; translate it to your time zone if you wanna), and well, early at 4PM is a little earlier than usual, but not too unusual.

Oh fuck, just realized today was a Monday.

Meh, could just be a random outage then. Happens every now and then on Steam.

Well MS Flight Sim releases in a few hours, maybe they're doing it early to avoid interfering with that.

Same thing here. Strange. If it's not maintenance... what could it be ?

Lets start the crazy theories. I'll say it's a ransomware that fucked Valve over.

So... The website is STILL down.

Thankfully everything else seems to work, be it Friend list, community, download, login, etc...

Edit : Browser wasn't fetching the online page and just showed the garbled text from before. Refreshed, works now.
