Need advice on upgrading case fans.

Hello,

Looking for advice for upgrading my case fans. Right now I have a rear exhaust with nfa 12x15 (4 pin) the two top fans Fractal Design Dynamic X2 GP-12 Computer Fan 1200rpm - Silent Fan that came with the case that I plunged into my 3 pin fan hub. As for my 240 aio rad I have 2 nfa 12x15 push and  2 nfa 12x15 slim pull all 4 pin. Was mainly looking to upgrade grade the 2 top fractal fans maybe 2 Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM, High Performance Cooling Fan, 4-Pin, 1700 RPM (120mm, Grey)? Im assuming the nfa 12x15 for rear exhaust is ok but what recommendations would you guys suggest. I have a fractal mesh c mini , it looks like only a 120mm will fit in the rear.

You are totally fine. You have like double the number of fans you need. Why do you think you need to upgrade?

@BlueScope819 so I can see your post

Your cooling is already kind of overkill in such a tiny case. But if you want to replace them, I'd use the Redux 1300 (the classic rpm range basically). 2 NF-F12 up top will work great as well but keep them at 50 % speed and only ramp up when temps start to rise above 60. They are really quiet at 50 % or 7V.

If you are willing to spend $50+ on 5% better airflow with your top fans, I am in the wrong business.

Luke did a video quite a while back testing (at least I think it was him) basically after a few case fans diminishing returns hit hard

Are the top two fans exhaust? You should remove the top front fan, as you're just expelling your intake immediately.

From my understanding if you use the 3 pin fan plug the fans will always ram at 100%? I only have 3 pins left LOL

use it as is

though this is sort of negative pressure, so i wouldnt personally run it

and you're mixing fans on your radiator, which some people may suggest you dont

Corsair - very good RMA experience, absolutely recommend

Companies I hate:

Nvidia, Intel, Apple, TMT (Thundermatch, a retailer)

Personal Blacklisted Companies:

Spoiler

Acer: shit tier quality products, shit tier customer service thus far, they "tried" to solve my issue but they arent really doing anything but delaying and delaying. (on-going case since July)

Gigabyte: horrible customer service (gigabyte had literally 0 customer service, asked me to go to retailer with NO WAY to email them about a question) but at least they fixed my shit in ONE MONTH (would probably take me 1 hour to fix if they let me email them)

XiaoMi Phones: built like a tank but the software is buggy as all hell

Seagate HDD: had too many dead seagate drives

Kingston SSD: 300V controller swap thingy

Razer (except their mouse)

Remember, just because I had good/bad experiences with these companies/product, doesn't mean you will have similar experiences too. I would still recommend these products if they made sense for your needs, but I'll add a disclaimer of my experience if it's relevant. Feel free to DM me asking why they are where they are.

As for the mixing of the fans in push pull i did ask and try to research it and i couldnt find a definite answer. You think it would be better to get 2 more slim fans and move the nfa 12x15 to just use 2 as exhaust instead of the 3 i have? Also run the 4 slim fans as 3 pins? Then the 2 nfa 12 15 as 4 pins?

cooling wise, i wouldnt bother

fan bearing health wise, i dont know enough to comment on it

but i would personally use it as is, and just replace the fans when the bearings die
