Well that was unexpected! But here we are and Intel is at it again with pricing that is pretty hard to beat. The deal opens August 26th. Be sure to get your orders in as early as possible if interested! Usual restrictions apply: retail employment verification must be up to date and the price varies depending on your status with the program. Past chips I've bought have been hella good overclockers. Could someone explain Retail Edge? My understanding was that these offers are reserved for people who work for one of Intel's retail partners.

I believe any certified retail reseller. Best Buy, Microcenter, Walmart, Staples, Office Max, many places. The qualified retail vendor list is huge.
