Wanting to upgrade. Will my pc bottleneck??

mrgranit

Hi! Im thinking about upgrading my graphics card to a 1050 ti 4gb, but i wonder if my pc will bottleneck. If so can i overclock my cpu to prevent this?

My pc setup:

(Motherboard) msi 970 gaming

(graphics card) 960 2gb

(ram) 4×2gb corsair ddr3

(cpu) FX 6300

(power supply) corsair CX600M

it will bottleneck a bit, but overclocking is a good idea to reduce the bottleneck.

the 1050ti are usually expensive for what they do. i'd upgrade to a rx570 or a gtx 1060, which shouldn't be more expensive, but much better.

Upgrade vram, same performance. No. Unless you sell the 960 for more than you buy a 1050ti
