Is AIO safe and reliable?

I have a some budget left and i want my PC to looks "cool"

So, I'm looking for an AIO

But a few questions pops up in my head, is

1. Is it gonna leak?

2. Is it going to be reliable?

Can anybody answer my questions?

QUOTE ME SO I CAN REPLY OR TYPE @ItsMeRachata before every quote.

An AIO is very safe reliable there is an almost 0% of leakage.

Assuming you buy one from a known brand and not some unnamed sketchy garbage from a street thug it'll work fine.

1. Almost certainly not, unless you damage it during installation.

2. Depends on the model. They do have a lifespan though as the pump will eventually fail. Compared to an air cooler, which can last basically forever, other than just replacing a fan if it dies.

I have only heard of a few cases of AIO leaking in the past few years, and I suspect the user of being at fault in both of those cases too... but cannot for sure say they were.

What I can tell you for certain is that one of my cheap AIOs has taken a fair bit of abuse with the fairly unbendable hoses and has shown no signs of leaking or anything in the approx 3 years I have had them. Temps are still very good too in comparison with the more popular AIOs from Corsair etc.

If you're worried though, stick with a decent air cooler from noctua, bequiet etc as they're about on par with AIOs anyway.

My comment is not going to answer your questions, but If you want to just cool an 6, or even 8 core cpu, just go with an air cooler. It will last you way longer, and if you want quietness, then buy something from noctua or be quiet!
