Can I set screen scaling below 100% in windows 10?

Finally found a solution and luckily my graphics card supports it. Go to Nvidia control panel - manage 3d settings and look for DSR factor and set as per your need (don't go too crazy it reduces quality for each resolution upscaling). Once done simply go to display settings and scale it above 1920 - 1080

I just bought a new gaming monitor coming from a significantly smaller widescreen and everything is HUGE on it. I checked the scaling options but it's set already at minimum. I searched online and I found a trick with the registry but it doesn't appear to be working on windows 10. What can I do? does somebody know an external program that does this?

Nope. Best you can do is "Use Small Taskbar Buttons". That'll make the taskbar a bit smaller at least.

 

right click taskbar -> Taskbar Settings

Nope but you can reduce the size of icons by right clicking the desktop, view then small icons. And in your browser you can reduce the page scaling.

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

Yeah I was doing those two things already even before switching monitors

I can't tell if you're serious or not, but anyway that's not a solution. I'm talking about UI being too big for me, not the monitor.

No you can't. The only solution is selling current one and buying a new one with higher resolution, at least 1440p or 4K.
