How is one faster than the other

Me and my brother have the note 9, but for some reason he gets faster data speed and better connection than I do even tho we have the exact same phone. Why and how is that??

We need more info than that. WiFi or cellular? Are you guys on the same network and testing in the same spot? Are you testing one at a time, or both at once? What are you using to test the speeds?

 Cellular, Verizon, and we have unlimited data

Do you both have Verizon? You could try swapping the SIM cards and then testing the speeds, see if that makes a difference. Also what app or website are you using to test the speeds?
