Dunno if this RAM is compatible

I have some memory sticks but I'm not sure if they are compatible with the motherboard( https://asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450%20Steel%20Legend/index.asp)I'm getting. I think this is server ram but i'm not sure what difference it makes. I appreciate any help

Yea, it's regular memory. It would say ECC right on the sticker firstly.

The memory looks cluttered like that because it's an 8 GB stick of DDR3.

to make another point: DDR4 is what you want for a new motherboard

It's not.

That is a DDR3 RDIMM module

That's not true, it wouldn't necessarily say it was ECC on the sticker. In this case, it's a DDR3 ECC RDIMM module. Even the link you provided confirms it's ECC.
