Games keep "running out of memory"

So I have a 2070 super and 16gb of 3200 ram, and you'd think that would be enough to basically play any game without having to worry about a ram issue. But i guess not because games like PUBG, Titanfall 2, Apex, and BO4 all crash in the middle of playing because "this program has run out of memory". I even closed everything but task manager and it still happens. But the thing is neither my memory nor gpu are even close to being 100% utilized. Even if I turn the graphics to the cruddy potato quality it still happens. I'm so confused is there some secret setting that I have to enable to make these games work?

Some games need the page file, did you disable it or set a custom value?

im just kidding, do you have any other intensive tasks open in the background or something of that sort? do you have XMP enabled? waht cpu are you running?

yeah i've got xmp enabled to get that 3200mhz on the ram. Cpu is a 1600x at 3.9ghz. If i have chrome open it'll crash both chrome and the game but if i don't have anything else open it'll still crash the game.

The games mentioned work just fine with 8GB of RAm, even playable on 4GB or 6GB.

Something is casing you a memory leak. Unstable XMP, unstable overclock (CPU), outdated drivers, outdated BIOS, faulty RAM, ...
