HI Guys,

Last year i made the above build with Msi tomahawk B450 and unfortunately it started giving me random power down issues. I have decided to get new mobo as my warranty claim is taking way too long then expected. Now my question is should i go for Asus ROG Strix B450 Gaming-F or Asus Tuf Gaming B550 plus. I have picked this 2 boards as they come at similar price point.

I will be using all components at the stock setting (no overclocking at all). So just want to understand will ROG give me good stability even if its older chip-set or Tuf series is also as stable as ROG but with lil less gaming features? I am leaning towards B550 as this motherboard can directly support my 3200 Mhz ram speed.

Any suggestions on the same would be really helpful. Thanks a lot :)

B550. B450 doesn’t make sense anymore unless you are going for a IGPU or a budget build.

The only reason, and a spurious one at that, to go B450 is to save money. If they're the same cost, then B550 always.
