Can I program an LTT Soundboard app?

I am programming a soundboard app for Android, but I am looking for permission for sound bytes from LTT Videos.

Who can I ask for permission to make this app, or am I even allowed to?

 

Note 

• The app WILL NOT be monetized for myself in anyway. (The only possible monetization would be a button hyperlink to lttstore.com)
• I would only use LTT sound bytes, if given permission from the LTT team.
• I am open to a discussion with an LTT team member about this, you can message me on here.

I support this I think the permission would be there as long as it's non profit (I'm not sure on this)

Yeah, it's tough. I doubt we'd issue a takedown unless it was being monetized or was found to be disparaging in some way, but going through the process of submitting to the App Store or Play Store probably has some stipulations around having proper licenses/ownership of the content you're including in your app and that's probably not something we'd want to do...

Get it started on github, if it's not monetized you should be fine. If you run into issues with google/apple oh well you had a learning experience. They said they wouldn't hunt you. Either way would be cool to have an app that got 1k downloads before it got taken down. I'd be willing to help, I'm good at android but dont have apple device so im locked out of iOS.
